Right now I’m thinking about a new name for a mid-Range between the Element and Warrior and could use some advice,,, would recycling the old Name Scout work?
Is it COOL enough??
We may recycle the other 2 names as well one day ( I always liked the names Apache & Chief).
Since we discontinued these names over 4 years ago would it be a good or bad idea to use them for NEW discs?
Also forgot too mention,,, we ran some flexible “S” Elements and Warriors for Ice bowl this year. If you’re club is not running and Ice bowl this year ,,, it’s not too late.
you can go to the website www.icebowlhq.com or contact rick Rothstein at rick@discgolfworld.com.

Chief is a cool name

I think you should use the name “Shaman”.
From Wikipedia:
Shamans are intermediaries between the human and spirit worlds. They can treat illness and are capable of entering supernatural realms to provide answers for humans.
Just let it be known that Blang named it right here!
GRAP says
Or you could call it the ghost. I think that would be a pretty cool name for a discs. It sounds like a midrange.
Bobby says
I think since you already have the demon and the element as mid-range discs, something like saint, warrior, or assault would be good names.

Chakra (derived from the Sanskrit cakraṃ चक्रं, Phonetic pronunciation “chukr”, Pali: chakka, Tibetan: khorlo, Malay: cakera) is a Sanskrit word that translates as wheel or disc. Chakra is a concept referring to wheel-like vortices which, according to traditional Indian medicine, are believed to exist in the surface of the etheric double of man.[1] The Chakras are said to be “force centers” or whorls of energy permeating, from a point on the physical body, the layers of the subtle bodies in an ever-increasing fan-shaped formation (the fans make the shape of a love heart). Rotating vortices of subtle matter, they are considered the focal points for the reception and transmission of energies.[2] Seven major chakras or energy centers (also understood as wheels of light) are generally believed to exist, located within the subtle body. Adherents of Hindu and New Age tradition believe the chakras interact with the body’s ductless endocrine glands and lymphatic system by feeding in good bio-energies and disposing of unwanted bio-energies.[3]
